Our Team Members

A native of North Carolina, Dr. Dorsett graduated Cum Laude from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science in 2004 and received a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Dr. Dorsett worked in coastal North Carolina after graduation in a small animal private practice and also did relief work in emergency medicine for over a decade. Dr. Dorsett owns two rescued cats named Beetree Sassafras and Hatcher Kephart, and a rescued mixed breed dog named Bazzle Tucker. Dr. Dorsett’s professional interests include small animal internal medicine and client education. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Dorsett enjoys movies, creative writing, hiking, birding, reading, photography, and spending time with her friends and family. She is also a member of Apex CERT (Community Emergency Response Team).

Nadine serves as our receptionist. She joined our family in October 2020. She is blessed with a loving husband, three amazing kids, and three adorable grandkids. Nadine previously worked reception at Wake County Schools. Her favorite part of her job is meeting new and old friends. She has a 19-year-young kitty named Zoe, who is a Russian Blue.
